Application invited from eligible candidates for the admission into 2 year Diploma in Dental Mechanics Course, approved by the Dental Council of India at the Institute of Dental Sciences, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar for the academic year 2021-2022.
About the course:
This is a paramedical course. This training program caters to the needs of allied healthcare sector. DDT program is known to train students and turn them into skilled allied healthcare professionals.
This program deals with dental laboratory technology. Who is a dental mechanic you may ask. He/she is an allied healthcare professional. Dental technicians work under the supervision of skilled and qualified dentists or can establish their own dental lab, dealing with acrylic, ceramic CAD-CAM TECHNOLOGY and Dental 3D printing, to fabricate various dental prostheses independently. They also can get a job in large dental colleges and dental labs. In other words, a dental mechanic form an integral part of a dental care team.

Eligibility Qualification:
The candidate should have passed Intermediate or +2 or 12th Science with Physics, Chemistry & Biology from a State Board or Central Board or university approved by Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
Selection Method:
The candidates will be selected based on their merit. The marks obtained in 10th and 12th will be considered as the basis of selection.
