Special graduation ceremony held for SOA graduates of previous years

Students who had completed their education in Master of Business Administration (MBA) and MBA (Hospital Administration) in 2020, 2021 and 2022 from Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University (SOA) were presented their certificates at a special graduation ceremony held in the university auditorium on Thursday.

Students of the 2021and 2022 batch who had done their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the university were also presented their credentials at the program chaired by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda.

The students had not received their certificates because no graduation ceremony could be held during the years because of the pandemic.

Besides, students of Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT), BBA in Hospitality and Culinary Arts and MBA in Hospitality Management of previous years were also presented their certificates in the same program.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nanda, who also administered the oath to the graduating students, described the occasion as momentous while urging them to excel wherever they were placed. “Having passed out from this highly ranked university, you have to be its brand ambassadors wherever you are placed,” he told the graduates.

Prof. Sitikantha Mishra, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Manjula Das, Controller of Examination, Prof. Anup Kumar Samantaray, Dean of Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS), SOA’s faculty of business management, Prof. S.R. Chaini, Dean of School of Hotel Management (SHM), faculty of hospitality and tourism management, Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das, Dean (Students’ Welfare), members of the Academic Council and faculty members were present.
