SOA signs MOU with Comviva for mutual collaboration
Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University here on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Comviva Technologies Ltd, among global leaders in digital solutions, for mutual collaboration.
Prof. P.K. Nanda, Pro-Vice Chancellor, SOA and Ms. Vaishnavi Shukla, Head-HR of Comviva Technologies Ltd, signed the MoU.
The objective of the collaboration would be to drive core technical competencies in digital payments, real time marketing and analytics and digital solutions for richer customer experience, Prof. Nanda said.
Prof. Nanda said the collaboration would enable students to have enhanced access to most modern digital technologies and help them become industry ready for new age opportunities.
Mr. Mohapatra said the collaboration would help in enhancing the quality of the talent pool and make them ready for industries.
Comviva intends to drive greater partnership with SOA to derive synergies including internship programs and joint projects, Mr. Mohapatra said.
As part of this strategic collaboration, Comviva would provide content, technologies, faculty training, access to industry experts in its core areas of focus including data science, digital payments and digital systems for richer customer experience.
Comviva, based on its talent requirement, would also offer short term internships and joint projects to selected students who successfully complete one of the offered specialized domain courses and get successfully assessed by the university, Mr. Mohapatra said.

Prof. Manas Kumar Mallick, Director, ITER, Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das, Dean (Students’ Welfare), Dr. Priyabrata Patnaik, Additional Dean (Research), Mr. Ripti Dash, Head (Industry Engagement) and Mr. Sumit Mitra, Head (Training) represented SOA.
