SOA Lex Concilium-2024 held at SNIL

SOA National Institute of Law (SNIL), the faculty of law of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) here, organised ‘SOA Lex Concilium-2024’, a day-long program to provide guidance to students on employment opportunities on Saturday.

SOA Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda, who addressed the students, said that SNIL was ranked 8th in the country in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking in 2023.

The program was also addressed by SNIL Dean Prof. S.A.K. Azad, Dean (Students’ Welfare) Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das and Director, Corporate Affairs, Mr. Ripti Ranjan Dash.

The first phase of the panel discussion on the subject ‘Emerging Trends in Legal Technology: Impact of technologies on the legal profession and how law graduates can adapt to these changes’ featured Mr. Bikash Kumar , Senior Director (Morae Global), Mr. Prashant Panda, Head-Legal (TCI Group), Mr. Abhishek Singila, Partner (Burgeon Law), Ms. Manaswini Mishra, Head- Corporate Communications (Fox Mandal and Associates) and Mr. Chaitanya Mahajan, Managing Partner (Lex Supremus).

The second panel discussion on the topic ‘Diverse Career Paths for Law Graduates: Exploring Opportunities and Beyond Traditional Law Practice’ had Ms. Puja Roy, Senior Director—Operations (Morae Global), Dr. Himanshu Puri, Co-Founder and COO (Legitquest), Ms. Abha Kashyap, Founder and Managing Director (Kashyap Partners and Associates LLP), Mr. Vipin Pathak, HR Lead (Lumina Datamatics Ltd) and Ms. Jai Rakshita, Head- Legal (lawminds) as speakers.

The program was also attended by SNIL senior professors Prof. Prabir Patnaik and Prof. Madhusudan Das. Mr. Ripti Ranjan Das conducted the program.
